Philosophy & Approach to Patient Care
I aim to support women through each stage of life, from adolescence and preconception through pregnancy, postpartum and later years. Early attention to anaemia, menstrual disorders and PCOS can help guide a timely discussion and care plan. Antenatal care can include early screening for pre-eclampsia, gestational diabetes and anaemia, with closer follow-up for high-risk pregnancies. Delivery should be under skilled supervision, with readiness for emergencies. When a couple has difficulty conceiving, I begin with a step-by-step assessment: health history, ovulation tracking, thyroid checks, infection screening and semen analysis before discussing advanced treatment. Nutrition, iron and folic acid form part of care. I aim to make conversations about menstrual health and delayed pregnancy respectful and stigma-free.
